Greetings from the manse
Yesterday was once again a special day for us as a congregation as David and Scott were ordained as elders. We wish them every blessing, and please keep them in your prayers as they begin this new phase in serving God.
The Sunday school are proposing to have a trip to Ayr once again on the 16th June, and I ask that you support them in this venture. To date the response has been quite poor. If you intend coming along, please put your name on the list as soon as possible so that they can decide whether to go ahead or not.
I hope that you can join us for the Praise night on Sunday 13th May at 6:30pm. This will not only be a chance for us to sing some old favourites, but also to learn a few new items of praise.
As the week of general Assembly approaches – 21-26th May – I ask that you pray for all those who will presenting papers and the commissioners – Olive and I will be attending this year – pray that the business will be conducted with reverence, thought, and above all in love.
